Adorable! I can sympathise with that pet peeve. My housemates cat is very, very vocal when he wants something. Though lacking when trying to specify exactly what it is he wants.
Very good piece. My cat an I go through this every single day and he drives me nut. Ah! there he goes just now! If only they could explain what it is they want!
